By using AI-driven tools such as machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and robotic process automation (RPA), libraries can provide more personalized, efficient, and intelligent services.

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) rapidly integrates into various sectors, its application in libraries offers both transformative opportunities and significant ethical challenges. This paper examines the role of AI in enhancing library operations, improving user experiences, and expanding service offerings, while addressing the ethical dilemmas that arise from its use. The study explores the theoretical underpinnings of AI, its various components, and the ethical principles that should guide its implementation in libraries.

Abstract : Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a subfield of computer science that focuses on building systems that can carry out tasks that normally require human intelligence. Learning, reasoning, problem-solving, comprehension of spoken language, perception, and even creativity are some of these tasks. Academic libraries can improve services and operations by using artificial intelligence. However, the implementation of AI in academic libraries has many challenges, such as technical issues, ethical and legal concerns, etc.

These days, one of the newest technologies is artificial intelligence (AI). Although it has been linked to a number of professions, including software industry, business, military, health, and education, its use in library services will encourage wise choices. The best services in the era of information technology can be transformed by artificial intelligence (AI), a technology that is frequently used in libraries. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how AI is used in library operations such as cataloging, classification, indexing, periodicals database, information retrievals, etc.
